Please help Grady Elementary celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week from May 2-6.  Here’s how you can make it great:

Monday, May 2  -Wear Your hat to school

Let's tip our hats to the teachers and staff that help make us great.

Tuesday, May 3 -Bring your teachers flowers

Students can show their gratefulness with flowers that are made with paper, home grown or from the store. Give them directly to the teachers and staff on Tuesday, May 3rd.

Wednesday, May 4 -Donate gift cards & gift certificates

Students can pamper their teachers and staff with donated prizes. On the morning show, we will be having a drawing of the donations. Some ideas are restaurant gift certificates, massages, gift cards. Please drop your donation off at the front office before 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4th.

Thursday, May 5 - Make a card or write a letter of thanks

We would like to have your child express their gratitude with thank you notes. Tell them how much they have helped you grow. Give them directly to the teachers and staff on Thursday, May 5th.

Friday, May 6 -Bring sweet treats

Students can bring in special treats that you have made or bought from the store to share with the teachers and staff. If possible, please individually wrap your goodies. Please plan to drop off the goodies at the front office on Friday, May 6th before 8:00 a.m.

During Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, the PTA will also coordinate for our teachers and staff:

Grab-n-Go Breakfast (Monday)

Appreciation Luncheon (Thursday)

Thank You Bags (Friday)

Jump Rope for Heart at Grady Elementary was a huge success.  Students also learned about heart health and had a wonderful time jumping rope, bouncing in the bounce house, jumping hurdles and playing with hula hoops during the event.  Plus, through fundraising, Grady Elementary raised $7,046.48 during Jump Rope For Heart!  Thank you, students, teachers and parents for participating in this great event.
