Grady Elementary PTA VP of Volunteers, Michael Gaines, won the Hillsborough County PTA Superman Award for his work in building our Grady PTA website, helping Grady PTA be able to accept online and credit card payments, and for building from scratch the online ASE club signup system. Notably, Michael is also responsible for procuring the current version of the Grady Tiger mascot/logo (the playful growling tiger) that adorns our school, t-shirts and website. Michael was completely surprised to have won the award. The Grady PTA, however, is glad that the Hillsborough County PTA has recognized Michael’s innovation and hard work. Additionally, Grady PTA also won a Volunteer Award and a Golden Participation Award for parent and grandparent involvment in the school. Congratulations to our PTA.
