Next, Grady Moms, please join us for a fun-filled Mom’s Night Out. Please join us on Thursday, October 9, 2014, starting at around 6:30 pm and ending around 9:30 pm, at Kona Grill, 4134 W Boy Scout Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607 (across the street from International Plaza, restaurant tel: (813) 877-5938) for a great chance to meet other Grady Moms. About 25 moms attended the last Mom’s Night Out and we hope to have that many again this time. We hope you can join us! An RSVP to [email protected], is not necessary, but is appreciated.
The first meeting of the Yearbook Committee and yearbook volunteers is meeting this Friday, September 26, at 8:15 am at Kahwa Coffee, 3928 Henderson Blvd, Tampa, FL 33629 (Kahwa tel:(813) 443-0819). If you have signed up for the yearbook, or would like to volunteer for the yearbook, please attend. If you would like to volunteer, but can’t attend, please email PTA President, Damaris Allen at [email protected], for more information.
Our first Family Night at Yogurtology was a tremendous success. Yogurtology will be cutting us a check for $256.14. That’s a great result. Thank you for coming out and supporting our school at the first Family Night.
Our PTA is incredibly close to having 100% membership from parents. It already has 100% membership from teachers. If you know families who have not yet joined, please encourage them to join today. Also, please keep in mind that grandparents may want to stay connected to our school through the PTA. Last year, we won an award for Grandparent Involvement, and several grandparents commented at the end of last year how much they enjoyed being included on the PTA email list. Please consider asking your child’s grandparents to join today.
