Thanks to our many wonderful volunteers, Grady’s Copy Center is staffed and up and running!  Thanks so much to our wonderful volunteers for helping teachers in a practical way.  For more information on the Copy Center, please click here:  Copy Center

On March 31, Grady students, staff and faculty lit it up blue for World Autism Awareness Day.  To see the school’s picture, please click here: Grady Lights It Up Blue.  Also, please consider supporting Grady Elementary during the Autism Speaks Walk by clicking on this link: Autism Speaks Walk.  The walkers are raising money to support services for the autism community.

The Grady PTA Nominating Committee is seeking a Yearbook Coordinator for next year.  The Yearbook Coordinator works with our yearbook vendor, Strawbridge, to supply pictures and content for the yearbook.  There are already several volunteers who have agreed to take pictures at school events next year, so you will have help if you decide to take on this role.  If you are interested, please contact our current Yearbook Coordinator (and Nominating Committee member), Norma Maiz at [email protected]

Additionally, Grady PTA still has some open board positions available, including VP of Fundraising, VP of Membership and VP of Sponsorship.  If you are interested in being more involved, but aren’t yet ready to commit to a board position, please contact Debbie Bresnahan at [email protected].

Guidance Counselor, Ms. Barra, encourages us to read the April Home & School Connection, which is available in both English and Spanish.
