Red Ribbon Week October 25th - 29th
Red Ribbon Week is the nation's oldest and largest drug misuse prevention awareness campaign. Research shows that kids are less likely to use tobacco, alcohol and other drugs with effective prevention efforts. Teaching the importance of health and wellness to our youth will help guide them to make positive choices throughout their life. At Grady, we are going to celebrate healthy choices and being drug free with daily themes.
Today we will show we are proud to be healthy and drug free. Wear red to kick off red ribbon week. Today, students will sign the pledge and receive their red ribbon.
Students will team up against drugs by wearing their favorite team shirts/jerseys.
Students can wear jeans to show "I am a 'jeanious' because I make healthy choices."
Student can wear crazy hair and socks to show they are crazy about making healthy choices.
Students will say "Boo to Drugs" while they are wearing their costumes.
